Casting of concrete supports for reinforcement from the remnants of glue and mortar into free forms

The article Manufacturing of concrete supports for reinforcement. Casting into free plastic packaging I showed where and why I poured the rest of the solution. I also pour the remnants of glue into these free forms, which sometimes remains when laying aerated concrete. Many of them fill in the places of capture (not available on all blocks) or rub the seams. I don’t rub the seams in principle. Why - I will write about this in a separate article.

The glue remained, for example, after laying the row, but it needs to be grooved and reinforced and you cannot start the top row.

Stands are needed in order to raise the reinforcement. It should be 3-5 cm higher from the bottom edge of the monolithic concrete body. The foundation is either concreting of an opening, an armored belt.

I pour it into plastic molds from eggs that I save up, do not throw it into the trash. If the coasters are carefully removed after they have gained strength, then the forms are suitable for the second pour. At the initial solidification of the glue, when it is already thick, it is necessary to make a groove in the castings (the groove where the reinforcement will lie).

More than 100 pieces have already accumulated. Of course, I didn’t save a lot by ebbing these stands for fittings. the cost of plastic coasters - from 1 rub. Price example:

I would simply throw out the remains of the solution and glue, and it would be necessary to purchase factory products. And, so, there will be enough for the supports for the reinforcement when filling the openings.

I repeat that this method is suitable for self-builders who stand in remote places, villages. If you have not found or forgot to purchase stands for fittings - the way out is to cast them according to this principle.
