Dug a bed in the Greenhouse, and there is mold? I tell you how to solve the problem once and for all
Preparing a greenhouse for a new summer cottage season is no less difficult than an open ground. And one of the most serious and common problems is mold found in the ground. But based on personal experience, I can say that I managed to cope with it once and never remember it again!
The reasons for this phenomenon can be different and usually they are present not even separately, but in a complex manner. These include, in particular:
· High acidity of the soil;
· Insufficient ventilation of the room;
· Increased air humidity;
· Insufficient lighting.
All of these are provoking factors, along with a large number of wooden surfaces. But in any case, you need to act decisively and in a timely manner, if you do not want to be left without a harvest at all this current season.
The easiest way is to remove and discard, replacing it with a fresh, topsoil. It is entirely possible to choose only this option when mold affects a small area of the greenhouse. And if the whole area is damaged, the event runs the risk of being too expensive.
Also, if there is little mold, it has not spread intensively, you can do with into the soil of wood ash - it destroys pathogenic microorganisms by shifting the soil pH to alkaline side.
But ideally, I advise you to use the preparation "Glyocladin", which belongs to the class biofungicides, that is, agents as environmentally friendly as possible, as well as safe for grown edible crops.
Its active ingredient is the Trichoderma mushroom, which is an antagonist of many harmful fungi. Once in the soil, Trichoderma begins to actively multiply, creating its own mycelium and thereby suppressing the growth of pathogenic forms until they are simply destroyed. Plus, this good mushroom helps to increase soil fertility.
For the processing of greenhouse soil, a Glyocladin solution is prepared from a powder or suspension concentrate, acting strictly according to the instructions.
It is allowed to use "Glyocladin" even when there are already plants in the greenhouse.
And of course, despite its effectiveness, you should adhere to measures to ensure the prevention of mold. It is necessary to observe crop rotation, ventilate the greenhouse in time, monitor the moisture and acidity of the soil.
