Want to save time doing household chores? This desire is natural and understandable! But in trying to do this, we often make the same unforgivable mistakes. For example, when washing things that lead to disastrous results!

Good afternoon dear friends!

It would seem that with the advent of washing machines, washing should have become an easy, non-burdensome duty. Yes, that is right! But at the same time, some people, in a hurry to do more important and interesting things, load things into it in a hurry - just like that. As a result, after a few washes, the clothes begin to lose their attractive appearance. But avoiding this is quite simple!

So, in order to allow your outfits to decorate you not 1-2 times, but for many months and even years, I have prepared this material.

Mistake # 1. Using too much powder. Excess powder penetrates deep into the fabric, as well as into places that are difficult to rinse: shirt collars, belts, zippers on trousers etc. As a result, the clothes start to look sloppy due to white spots, and in some cases can even irritate skin.

And all because of what?! And due to the fact that an overestimated amount of powder is often indicated on the pack. Moreover, in many cases it is sufficient to use only half of the recommended amount. Therefore, I recommend that you do not rely on instructions, but try to carry out several test washes and determine for yourself the amount of detergent at which things will look clean and fresh.

Mistake # 2. Wash colored clothes with white. Everyone at least once in his life, after washing, pulled out things with a "renewed" pale, incomprehensible color. So, until the clothes are dry, they can still be saved.

It will be enough to repeat washing of white items with powder and bleach. In this case, you may have to run the typewriter 2-3 times in a row to return things to their original bright color.

Mistake number 3. Using the wrong temperature. Doing your fastest wash with cold water? Of course, this saves water and energy, but such washing will not clean all things effectively. After all, warm water cleans much better, and hot water generally kills many bacteria and even microscopic mites. So, a natural question arises: at what temperature is it optimal to wash this or that product ?!

It's simple, at high temperatures it is advisable to wash: towels, bed linen, baby nappies, heavily soiled clothing, tracksuits after intense exercise and some underwear linen.

Medium temperature is ideal for most dark colored garments, synthetics, and moderately soiled garments.

And on the low one stretches those clothes that need to be freshened up a little, products made of wool and delicate fabrics (tights, underwear, lace, silk dresses and suits), new items and those that may shed.

And still do not be lazy and always carefully study the labels before the first wash - they indicate the temperature regime!

Mistake # 4. Leave wet clothes in the washing machine. In a humid environment, fungi, bacteria and other microorganisms actively multiply. Therefore, if you leave clothes in the washing machine for several hours, they will most likely acquire a bad musty smell. It will be possible to return things to their former freshness and cleanliness only by repeated washing using powder and bleach.

If the laundry has been on for a long time, then you can use a small amount of vinegar, which will need to be added to the powder tray.

Mistake # 5. Wash delicate items with all other clothing. Remember! It is wrong to wash delicate fabrics: underwear, swimwear and pajamas in a common armful on normal modes. They will quickly become unusable, and you will soon throw them away. These delicate items are always washed separately in a special mesh bag. So, for example, shoulder straps will never stretch and keep their neat look, and laces will not get tangled in zippers or buttons.

And one more rule: products made of thin materials are never twisted. They are laid out on a towel, and then, folding them, gently blot.
