After the repair, an extra pack of laminate was left, I decided to use it with benefit in the country and made the stairs with my own hands.

After installing a floor covering such as laminate, almost always there are extra lamellas, and sometimes whole packs.

Sometimes the hand will not rise to throw away these remnants, and it is not worth it.

After alllaminate enough universal materialto whom you can easily find a practical application on the farm.

So I decided to use the rest of the whole pack of laminate with benefit and made with his own hands the decoration of an old wooden staircase in the country.

What came of this, we will consider below.

I inherited a red staircase from the previous owners of the country house.

By itself, it is still quite strong, but its attractive appearance has long been lost.

To solve this aesthetic problem, the remnants of the laminate came in handy.

There was not a lot of material, so first of all I figured out what is the best way to do the styling.

It turned out to be impractical to mount a whole lamella horizontally on steps and risers.

The fact is that the width of the laminate board is not enough to completely cover the step and an additional narrow strip is required.

Therefore, I decided to lay the material vertically with short boards, which made it possible to use the panel almost entirely.

To do this, I measured the length and width of the steps and risers and marked the lamellae.

Then, using a jigsaw, I sawed laminate boards into small rectangles of the required size using the markings applied.

I decided to fix the laminate with self-tapping screws, having previously made a countersink with a drill.

Unfortunately, the remains of the laminate were only enough to finish the steps and risers.

For the stairs in the country house, in my opinion, it turned out quite well.
