How to feed Garlic at the end of June to double the heads. Important events not to be missed

Every year I grow garlic at my dacha. My family loves him very much, so I pay special attention to the growing process. A year ago, I discovered several ways that help to double the heads of garlic. I want to share them with you.

Watering and loosening

It would seem such a simple way, but few people remember about it at the time of growing garlic. If the plant does not have enough moisture, the quality of the heads will noticeably deteriorate. In addition, such garlic will not store well.

However, a balance must be struck here. There is no need to overmoisten the soil. This will provoke the development of rot and the appearance of diseases.

So what I do:

1. I loosen the ground before each watering. I do this carefully so as not to damage the plant.

2. I water the garlic abundantly once a week from early May to late June. I try to wet the earth to a depth of about 20-30 cm. In hot weather, I water the plant once every 5 days.

Mineral fertilizers

Previously, I did not use mineral fertilizers, since I did not see the need for this. However, I noticed that without the absence of certain components, the garlic grew small.

After reading the information on the Internet, I came to the conclusion that the plant needs phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and iron. Such feeding is carried out at the end of June.

Here are a few complex fertilizers that I used myself:

· Fasco;

· Agricola;

· Agros;

· Fertika.

I also tried nutrient solutions. For garlic, superphosphate, potassium sulfate and potassium sulfate are suitable.

I prepare the solution as follows:

1. I pour warm water into the bucket.

2. I pour 1 tbsp into the liquid. mineral composition.

3. Mix thoroughly and pour the garlic under the root.

Only one mineral component needs to be selected for feeding. You cannot use all formulations at the same time. I want to note that about 1 solution is spent on one plant.

You can also try the quick way. To do this, I spray the leaves of the garlic with a nutrient solution in the evening or in cloudy weather. Only in this case the composition should be 2 times weaker.
