How I removed a blockage from a kitchen sink with shumanite after trying different anti-blockage mixtures

The water in the kitchen sink has recently stopped flowing, the pipes are clogged. I pierced it with a plunger, covered it with a mixture of soda and vinegar - it helped for a short time, and then an unpleasant smell appeared. I tried various industrial anti-blockage mixtures - "Mole", "Tiret", there was no lasting effect from them.

A week ago, a familiar refrigerator came to us to fix it. I noticed the characteristic smell of clogged pipes. He advised to buy ordinary shumanite, but not in solution, but in the form of granules. Only, he says, be careful, it is thermonuclear!

I bought a bottle the same day.

Granular powder, odorless. It is written that it even dissolves hair!

Manufactured in Israel. It contains sodium hydroxide (about 30%) and a substance that prevents caking.

The method of application is simple:

1. Pour about 2 tablespoons of powder into the drain hole;

2. Pour boiling water over (carefully, not splashing water);

3. Wait 3 minutes (no more, as I understand it, can corrode pipes);

4. Wash off the product with plenty of running water.

When you fill it with water, gas starts to be released, which is unpleasant to inhale. Therefore, I highly recommend cleaning pipes with open windows and wearing rubber gloves. The mixture fizzes, boils, simultaneously removing greasy dirt on the sink.

The effect is immediate - the blockage is eliminated in a couple of minutes, the remains of food in the pipes dissolve and go along with the water to the sewer. This problem hasn't bothered me for several weeks now. And if the pipes become clogged again, I'll get the bottle of shumanite again.
