After that there is a waning moon phase - from July 6 to July 19. The days begin when the roots and all underground parts of the plant develop better, and the aboveground ones "subside". For this reason, you should not transplant at this time and carry out pinching, pruning.
The phase is followed by the New Moon, which is considered a very unfavorable period for gardening and gardening. Therefore, on July 20 - do not plant, do not huddle, do not inoculate. You can use this day to control pests or weeds.
Business in the garden
The garden is calling this month. The beginning of July, if the potato tops are not closed, is suitable for re-hilling the plant. In the first days, it is possible to process potato bushes from late blight. Copper preparations are suitable. Bordeaux liquid is often chosen. It is advised to carry out the last thinning of beets, carrots and other root crops. At the same time, a distance is left between the bushes, which allows the plant to form a normal crop.
Meanwhile, the cucumbers are ripening. Many people at this time begin to make twists - they salt and pickle. If there is sorrel left, this is a good opportunity to prepare herbs for the winter (for cabbage soup, soups) - rinse, dry and freeze.
Patissons, zucchini and cabbage in July need abundant watering: then the vegetables will be juicy, liquid. It is ideal to water with water heated in the sun. It is worth paying attention to tomatoes - with reddening fruits. At this time, the plant greedily absorbs nutrients from the earth. Therefore, sometimes you can notice their deficiency.
For example, if there is little phosphorus, the leaves are small, with a purple tint. And if the leaves are deformed and turn yellow, there is not enough calcium.
