Milk dressing for Cucumbers. Here's a step-by-step recipe, thanks to which you get a Record Harvest

Increasingly, gardeners are using top dressing to grow crops, and recently, folk remedies are most often chosen. This summer season, I tested a milk-based fertilizer on a cucumber crop growing in a greenhouse.

For cooking I needed:

10 liters of warm water, preferably standing

1 liter of milk, I took cow's 2.5% fat

Regular medical iodine 25 drops

Mix all ingredients in a large container. An important feature of the solution is that you do not need to choose the time, as indicated in some sources.

Complementary foods are ready for use immediately after breeding. All its components are active from the first minute.

I will also try another recipe for greenhouse cucumbers. The recipes are very similar, except that whey is used instead of milk. And since there are more nutrients in the whey, its volume can be reduced to half a liter.

The approximate consumption of the solution is 1 liter of milk feed solution per one square meter of the crop. The most important thing is to start feeding the cucumbers from the very beginning, when the first leaves in the amount of three or four things appeared.

Further, it is already possible to withstand the frequency of feeding and prepare the solution once every fourteen days. I feed after watering.

Why is milk feeding so useful?

Very important chemical elements are contained in whey in a sufficiently large amount. They are essential for good plant growth and nutrition.

These chemical compounds include phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen compounds. They promote the growth of the correct microflora in the soil. What is needed for a rich harvest.

Iodine, in turn, protects the plant. It has an antiseptic effect against pathogenic bacteria. Under the influence of iodine, insects and various disease-causing organisms cannot infect the crop. Also, iodine promotes faster ripening of cucumbers.

In one of the seasons I tried to feed with just milk whey. But here it is important to make sure that the planting soil is deoxidized. Since whey very quickly lowers the pH.

My advice:

1. You can add 1 tablespoon of laundry soap to the solution. It is better to rub it on a fine grater, so it will dissolve faster. Soap is needed in order to increase the stickiness and increase the duration of the solution.

2. Feeding should be planned for a day when the weather is sunny, preferably without wind. Better in the morning before eleven, or in the evening after seventeen.

3. It is important to apply the solution to the bottom of each sheet.

4. If you use this recipe with a clear frequency, then you can strengthen the plant, increase resistance to temperature changes, exclude yellowness of the leaves and, most importantly, increase the time fruiting.
