A bicycle is an extremely convenient thing, especially when it comes to outdoor activities. But it turns into a real headache as soon as it comes to storing it. And many refuse to buy a bicycle when faced with the issue of placing a two-wheeled "friend" in their small city apartment. After all, leaving it on the street or in the entrance is not the best solution. But in vain! Since there are several original and clever storage ideas for two-wheeled vehicles, which I have selected today for you.

1.Integrate it into your interior. This solution is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing! And all thanks to different types of brackets, which allow you to hang the bike in any free place at a height that suits you. Try hanging it over the sofa, complementing it with a pair of lamps of the same color, or at the entrance to the apartment, and that's it. And in front of you is no longer a simple vehicle, but an example of contemporary art.
Another original "parking" place can be made by hand. You will need a low old cabinet with a length of 1.2-1.5 meters. In the upper part, long narrow cutouts are made on the end sides along the width of the wheel. They will securely fix the bike in an upright position. At the bottom, on the shelves, you can place sneakers or a helmet. With such a holder, your transport will not only find its place in the interior, but also become its central decoration.
2.Hang from the ceiling. If you are a happy owner of high ceilings, then this idea will come in handy. After all, the under-ceiling space is usually free and not used at all. Therefore, purchase a special bracket with a lifting mechanism.
It allows you to lift the bike up without much effort. The hooks securely grip the seat and steering wheel, and the cable can be adjusted to the desired height.
3.Mount vertically on the wall. If you put the bike on its hind legs, then it will take up half the space. So it can be placed in a small space, for example, between a door and a wall, on a balcony near a blank wall, or in a narrow closet: in general, in any of the rooms of your tiny apartment.
The bike is attached to the front wheel with a wall bracket. This storage method is perfect for those who live in a one-room apartment, studio, or even in a student dormitory.
4.Fasten upside down. The principle is the same as for ceiling placement. Only here are hooks used, which both wheels cling to, and the bike is turned upside down. As a result, you get both an extremely original decorative object and a functional interior element. And all because you can hang clothes on the frame and handlebars using funny multi-colored hangers.
But this technique also has a drawback. Not everyone can handle lifting the bike up, all the more inconvenient to hang it up every day. Therefore, it is better to arrange your transport in this way only for long-term winter storage.
