We bought an old apartment with antediluvian renovation. Photo, what was and how the bathroom was transformed
Some people find a separate toilet and bathtub to be a nightmare. Indeed, in such premises there is very little space; it is difficult to choose a beautiful and stylish design.
It is much easier to equip a spacious bathroom; for this purpose, many remove partitions. For a large family, such a decision may be inconvenient, and there will be difficulties with going to the toilet and bathroom.
A married couple bought an apartment in the secondary housing market. Before moving, the couple decided to make a major overhaul. The materials and plumbing were so ancient that you can't find them now.
A small toilet and a bathroom were combined into one spacious room. I must say that it was difficult to turn around in the rooms, and after the renovation, free space appeared.
After the wall was demolished, a classic bath was installed and all surfaces were leveled. A hanging cabinet with a built-in washbasin was attached to the wall next to the bathroom.
Above they hung a shelf with a mirror, this area was highlighted with dark tiles with a pattern. Instead of a fabric curtain, a protective glass screen was installed, which protects against the spread of moisture. A section of the wall behind the bathroom was finished with white brickwork.
A toilet bowl with an installation was installed opposite the entrance; cabinets with brown wooden doors were made in the free space.
Most of the walls were finished with light brown material. Beige tiles with a dark decor were laid on the floor. An ottoman was placed near the entrance, which is also an additional storage space.
After the renovation, the bathroom began to look harmonious and stylish. Well-chosen colors, there is nothing superfluous in the interior. Residents are provided with a convenient approach to all areas.
This example once again proves that after combining functional areas, the space increases, which simplifies the choice of design.
The spouses are pleased with the new bathroom, they have never regretted that they combined the toilet and bathroom. This is real salvation for them.
