Sweat stains on clothes: how to get rid of them with regular aspirin tablets
Every housewife is probably familiar with the problem of sweat stains on clothes. And I am no exception. Almost every week I have to deal with this scourge, putting in order shirts, T-shirts and dresses. Previously, this situation irritated me terribly, but a few years ago I discovered a very simple and effective way to get rid of yellow spots.
In the fight against sweat marks, I use the most common aspirin, or acetylsalicylic acid. But you need to take just classic pills, and not instant ones.
First, crush the tablets. To do this, I take 3 - 4 pills, put them in a plastic bag and grind them with a mashed potatoes. You can use any more convenient method, the main thing is that the tablets are well crushed. I pour the resulting powder into a small bowl, add a couple of teaspoons of hot water and mix thoroughly so that all the grains dissolve as much as possible.
It is important that the resulting mixture is not too runny. You can also add a little washing powder to enhance the effect. In this case, the volume of water should be increased.
I rub the finished mixture into yellow spots (clothes must be dry). For best results, you can use an old toothbrush to lightly rub the area to be treated.
I leave the mixture to work for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. If the sweat stain is fresh, this treatment is usually sufficient.
But if the yellowness has already eaten in and after the treatment with aspirin, traces of contamination are still preserved, then I additionally wash my clothes with a laundry soap containing 72% fatty acids.
