The best folk dressing for Petunias in early July, thanks to which the plant will go into violent flowering

Petunias are my favorite flowers, which during their flowering period create an atmosphere of a real holiday in the yard. I have been growing these beautiful creations of nature for more than a decade, and they grow in my flower pots, hanging planters and, of course, in a flower bed.

But in order to achieve the lush flowering of these plants, I not only try to provide them with the most comfortable conditions, but always, at the beginning of July, I feed them with one wonderful top dressing, which I have never disappointing. I will gladly tell you a wonderful recipe.

Main component

So, experimenting with fertilizer for petunias for a long time, I still managed to determine the ideal top dressing, which will become an excellent flowering stimulator for these flowers.

The main active ingredient of this miracle remedy is boric acid.

Boron is especially necessary for dicotyledonous plants, which include petunias, since they absorb ten times more than monocots.

Application effect

Boric acid for petunias acts as an excellent flowering agent. Under the influence of this component, a large number of buds - future flowers - are formed on flowers.

Boron ideally not only nourishes buds and ovaries, but also activates the formation of new shoots, helps to strengthen the root system of the plant.

With an insufficient supply of boron to petunia, the flowers significantly slow down their growth and seem to stop developing.

Recipe

Boric acid can be purchased at any pharmacy. To prepare the fertilizer, I buy a powder product (2 gram sachet).

I dissolve the specified sachet of boron in half a glass of warm water, after which I bring the amount of liquid to the required norm, equal to 10 liters.

Application features

I put the finished solution in a spray bottle and generously process all my petunias with it.

I spray it only in the evening to exclude the sun's rays on the untreated parts of the plant.

The weather during the manipulation should be without precipitation and without strong wind, since otherwise the efficiency of processing is significantly reduced.

Such a simple boric acid-based feeding will help to achieve a lush flowering of petunias. Apply this fertilizer in early July and you will see your favorite colors in all their glory.
