In conditions of quarantine and self-isolation, everyone has to look for activities to their liking. Creative people have the opportunity to translate old ideas into reality, to remake old pieces of furniture into modern and original ones.
Our heroine has long dreamed of changing the design of the kitchen. Now are not the best times for a complete renovation, so the girl decided to do with repainting the facades.
Initially, the kitchen unit doors were blue and the side walls were brown. The plastered walls of the room were painted with peach paint.
The hostess was tired of the design of the kitchen for a long time, but for a long time she could not gather her courage. When, at last, I made up my mind, I took the paint that was left over from repainting the curbstone, diluted it with white and yellow colors.
The result is a pale blue hue that looks good against a light countertop, wood surfaces and an apron finished with cream-colored plastic panels with imitation brickwork.
The girl also repainted the chandelier, pasted over the tabletop with special paper.
The plastered walls were repainted white. The most difficult part of the work for the hostess was to get rid of old dirt and sand all surfaces. After such a difficult job, the girl had to do the manicure again, the sandpaper did not leave him any chance.
Some of the pens were so beautiful that the girl didn't want to change their design. Those that had undergone changes, she painted with acrylics dotted, sometimes with toothpicks or sushi sticks. In the end, she covered them with furniture varnish.
Why the kitchen set turned out to be bright, cheerful and fresh. The yellow napkins on the dining table complemented the decor perfectly.
The girl did not regret that she dared to change the design of the kitchen set. As a result of simple work, the kitchen looks like new.
Everyone can usefully spend their free time. This does not require large cash costs, it is enough to buy paint, stencils and start experimenting with old furniture.
