It all started with the usual tricks of a jay, which somehow buried an acorn in our summer cottage under a gooseberry, and forgot about it. The acorn hatched in the spring and in a couple of years turned into a pretty seedling, belatedly discovered during the harvest. It was decided to transplant the uninvited guest to a permanent place. And 5 years later, from an oak tree that grew freely in the middle of a carrot garden, my husband tied the first frail broom so that the carrots would not shade too much.

Then a small blue Christmas tree appeared at the dacha, donated by the Kazan Water Park (an ecological campaign "Green Country" was held there).

Since then, digging the ground under the autumn and caring for fruit seedlings, we constantly found either a rowan sprout, then a hatching viburnum, or a hawthorn. For all the seedlings, a corner was allocated in which they peacefully grew up for the time being.

And we got a taste and decided to pick up acorns, following the example of a jay. This is how the first row of oaks appeared.

During an autumn walk through the city, under the spreading chestnuts, a whole storehouse was discovered - nuts glittered with glossy sides among yellow leaves.

The next spring, young chestnuts hatched in unison at the dacha.

Why not try growing some cuttings? Pyramidal poplars reproduce well by cuttings, moreover, they grow very quickly.

Cuttings of coniferous shrubs are quite capricious. But if you dig in a juniper twig, and after a year in the spring, separate it, the seedling will easily grow.

The last two "green friends" appeared in the country in winter. Were bought in the nearest "Five" after the New Year at a ridiculous price - 9 rubles a piece.

Fir-trees "Konik" survived the winter in a snowdrift, and in the spring, despite our great doubts, showing a great will to live, they started up new soft needles.

This is how the family, where two daughters grew up, built a country house, but there is no son, they have to plant and plant trees in order to somehow justify the proverb.
