Polymer vine fence
Almost all common fence materials, except wood, look conventionally "cold". But on a tree, you need to constantly update the surface: once every 5-7 years, cover with impregnations. And I would like to build a fence with a warm kind of natural material, and so that its appearance remains not only for years, but for decades.
There are beautiful examples of fences made of polymer vine, from the material from which WPC (wood-polymer composite) decking boards are made. Small sawdust with plastic.
Up close it looks like this:
Polymer tube with a diameter of 18 mm. But when I looked at the cost, I realized why this material is not widespread (like the WPC itself). The price is very high:
For 1m2 of the fence section you need: 56 running meters of vines with single weaving (or 112 running meters with double weaving). And for the price it will be: 1904 rubles. or RUB 3808 respectively. If we take the common size of the fence section 2x3 m, then the price is simply exorbitant.
A picket fence with wood-like painting will be much cheaper. Therefore, if you use such material, then in the form of inserts and small fences in area:
Or as low fences for terraces, gazebos, street cafes in combination with a WPC board:
The style is very suitable for country furniture made of rattan (artificial rattan).
Often in the cities of Siberia you can see announcements: “I will give sawdust. Pickup ". For some reason, not everyone can turn waste into income by producing fuel pellets or just such a polymer vine from WPC. We need more plastic. It also suffices as recyclable materials.
