House made of shell rock according to the "folk project" Photo review

Shell rock is a unique building material that nature has spent millions of years creating. This type of limestone is massively used for the construction of houses in the southern regions of the country. We will tell you about one such house today.

Where is the project from?

This house is Ruslan (nickname on FORUMHOUSE ruslan1977ru) copied from his neighbor Uncle Vova, and the one from his neighbor, and the other from his... Each made small changes to the project, each customized the house to suit him, but still - this is a folk southern style, a typical Crimean one-story building made of shell rock with a red gable roof and an extension-vestibule.

Ruslan's construction somehow did not go right away: for two weeks he uprooted old cherries, then the hired workers dug a trench for a long time under the foundation - there was no rain for a long time, the earth hardened like concrete, and after 60 cm an impenetrable mixture of gravel, clay and shell rock. Then several times it happened that I had to give up the services of hackers and do everything myself. Slowly and hard, but the house has grown - another dream has come true.

• House dimensions: 10.3 * 10.3, plus an extension-vestibule 3.3 * 2.3.
• The foundation is rubble, the plinth is reinforced at a distance of 30 cm from the ground.
• The wall material is shell rock, which is mined in the Crimea by an open method; insulated with 5 cm thick foam (enough for the South) and plastered.

What's in the house and in the yard?

The house has three bedrooms, two 3.85 * 3 and one 3.85 * 3.25, kitchen 3 * 4, living room 4 * 4.25, two bathrooms, gas heating and forced ventilation. The septic tank is made under the platform for the car, there is a canopy above it. A double-circuit hinged boiler is hidden in the column in the kitchen.

On the site there is a small gazebo with a fireplace for barbecue and a sink, and under it is a small cellar: every centimeter of a small plot of 5 acres is used rationally and wisely. The porch, gazebo and area in front of the house are lined with porcelain stoneware, and the yard is covered with paving slabs.

There are also a lot of tiles, lighting, and shine inside the house. Convenient layout, cozy house and courtyard - you don't need to spend a lot of money for a happy life on earth.
