How we chose the perfect humidifier for small spaces

Our apartment is hot all year round and the air is completely dry. We have been thinking about purchasing a humidifier for a long time. There is a huge selection of models on the Internet, so we decided to outline the most important parameters for ourselves:

1. Silent. They were going to turn on the device at night, so the absence of noise from the turned on device is a guarantee of a healthy sleep.

2. Compact. There is not much free space in the room.

3. With auto shutdown if the water runs out. A useful function for the safe use of equipment.

4. Not pretentious in design. The interior of the room is discreet, I wanted the new device to match.

5. Suitable for a room of 17 sq.m.

6. Affordable

Taking these criteria into account, we made a list of 10-12 models from different manufacturers and went to a hypermarket to see the selected models with our own eyes. On closer inspection, most of the humidifier list disappeared by itself: what's on the screen the computer looked attractive, in reality it turned out to be bulky, noisy and not beautiful in appearance product. Some models were not on sale, and the price sometimes did not match the one stated on the Internet.

Having reviewed many models, we noticed the UHB-310 (Ballu). I liked the appearance - a white and silver compact cube. According to the parameters we have chosen, it fits perfectly. The price was especially pleasing, they paid a little more than two thousand rubles.

Briefly about the advantages:

1. Silent. Sometimes a gurgling sound is heard, but it passes after 10 minutes, this is a change of modes.

2. Compact. Installed on a chest of drawers next to the bed. Perfectly moisturizes a room up to 20 sq.m.

3. Easy to use. If you follow the instructions and fill in pre-filtered water, then the filter will have to be changed less often.

4. Automatic shutdown in the absence of water

2. There is a capsule for aroma oil. A few drops of your favorite oil and enjoy the aromatherapy.

Disadvantages:

1. Small tank volume, lasts less than 10 hours. Often you have to top up the water.

2. Good model for rooms up to 17 sq.m. Not as efficient in larger rooms.

For us, the humidifier was almost perfect.
