I bought a coffee table with a glass top and ottomans. Everything would be fine, but I did not take into account some of the nuances
A coffee table is often a beautiful addition to a sofa. I wanted to find a more practical attribute, and it seemed to me that I found it - beautiful, modern, practical. But! I didn't take into account some of the nuances.
From the beginning about the good:
· Shape and color. Rectangular dark brown table fits perfectly into the overall look of the sofa;
· Invoice. Leather upholstery adds elegance;
· The size. On it you can easily get a dinner for the whole family of 5-6 people;
· Table top. Tinted glass looks stylish;
· Ottomans. 4 poufs do not take up extra space - they can be easily assembled under a table in specially designated sections;
· Interesting pattern. With the poufs removed, the table has an interesting cut that adds intrigue (looks like a spider);
· Movement. The table is equipped with wheels, which greatly facilitates its movement from place to place, even on the carpet, and you don't need to lift anything heavy.
Needless to say, just a dream. Everything would be fine, but I did not take into account some of the nuances:
· The size. A table for the whole family is good, but it's still a coffee table, it could be smaller and lighter. It takes up an impressive space in the living room, but sometimes you really want to move, free up a few centimeters;
· Sharp corners. I have already filled several bruises on my legs because of the sharp corners of the glass tabletop, in addition, I am not thinking about the pain, but about whether I broke it;
· Dust. Each speck of dust is perfectly visible on the dark glass, and there is a sea of them on it. Whatever she did, whatever she wiped, the dust settles on it with a catastrophic speed;
· Small screws for fastening the rollers, which is why they have already been repaired once;
I don’t know if it’s just a poor job, or if I’m picking on everything possible, but my coffee table leaves a lot to be desired. But there were other, more miniature tables in the store, but I took the first thing that was offered, especially that in color and texture it went very well with my sofa. But now I began to doubt the correctness of the choice, but it is too late to change anything.
How did you choose your coffee tables? It will be interesting to know your opinion about the listed shortcomings, maybe everything is simple to me, it seems.
