African cockroach: uninvited guests in Egyptian homes. You can't slap such a cockroach with a slipper, as familiar to many of our
A black monster, the size of a large date, wiggling a mustache, will shock anyone! The African cockroach feels great in Egypt, despite the fact that this is the northern part of the African continent.
Much to the happiness of residents and tourists, due to the dry climate, there are not so many insect animals in the country as in southern African countries. But still, there is someone to be afraid of.
You don't often see huge cockroaches in Egyptian hotels; sanitizing rooms and territories leave little chances for these “cute” creatures to have an all-inclusive vacation. But it is worth going outside the territory, into the residential part of the city and you can meet them right on the streets. And they often go to the houses of ordinary Egyptians.
Much depends on the cleanliness of the neighborhoods, streets and houses. But even a complete order and neat owners, this is not a 100% guarantee that the cockroach will not come to visit.
And if the area is poor, and the hostesses are far from clean, then these monsters are like at home. And by the way, they fly really well, so be prepared for that!
How to fight? It's hard to say for sure. You can't slap such a cockroach with a slipper, like a small Prusak cockroach, familiar to many from childhood. Its dimensions are so large that not everyone can raise their hand. The best way is aerosols with a chemical, but even after such an attack, the cockroach can still show signs of life for a long time, jerking its paws and whiskers in convulsions.
It is best to try to get rid of fear, if possible, to remember that these are the same inhabitants of the country as everyone else. Of course, cleanliness and order minimize the arrival of these uninvited neighbors, but do not completely exclude them.
And here's another, small ants, the same full-fledged inhabitants in houses in the land of pyramids, and much more disgusting! They have the audacity to climb everywhere, into sugar, flour, cereals, sweets and other goodies, and bite very painfully. So, it is not known who is more terrible, huge cockroaches or small ants)
