Since 2014, viewers who have fallen in love with such a comedy of life cannot wait for news about season 7. First, because of the war in Ukraine, then because of the sanctions against the actors and the ban on this series in Ukraine, shooting did not start. And when they started, as if it was not destiny to release it on the screens...

Director Andrei Yakovlev confirmed in the winter that the last summer footage will be filmed this summer and at the beginning of 2021 the series will be released on screens. The script was rewritten several times. Some of the actors have passed away in these last extremely difficult years. The actors have changed, some have aged. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge, but it is in these recent years, when we are all experiencing a lot of negativity in relations between the two countries, that interest in "Swats" seems to have even intensified.

Not only I watch it exclusively when I want to cheer up. Like Eldar Ryazanov's films once. Well, I reviewed it 20 times, but I still turn on the 21st, 22nd... There really is no better antidepressant for me and for many other viewers, I think, too.

I don't want to watch the cartoon, I just want real actors. In the spring I was very upset when the pandemic and self-isolation began. So I thought that the shooting in the summer would fail, but I hoped. But Kvartal-95 confirmed that the summer shooting had been postponed for a year.

Although they did not say that it was canceled, but only postponed, it sounds like it was canceled. Because according to the first scenario, the beginning of filming was never completed, according to the second scenario, completely rewritten in a completely different way, they could not finish it either. And now, it seems that they will change the script, completely rewrite the stories of the heroes of the series.

Another piece of news, which, on the one hand, I was delighted, but on the other hand, this is an indirectly alarming signal for "Matchmakers". Actress Anna Koshmal, who played the role of Zhenya Kovaleva, began acting in the TV series "Daddy" season 2. Koshmal herself published this note on her Instagram account:

"Papik" can already be called a favorite sitcom, but it does not reach "Matchmakers". Humor is perhaps not enough... or Fedor Dobronravov... or this very best and can already be called the holy trinity of Dobronravov-Kravchenko-Artemiev. I really want to believe that the last 7th season of "Matchmakers" will still end successfully and the long wait of the audience will be rewarded.
