Country life on the seashore: what prompts you to move when you are already over 50

Life on the shore of a warm sea is the dream of many people. Participant FORUMHOUSE under the nickname myroad60 pondered this question, but did not ponder for a long time, but immediately began decisive action - moving to a cozy village on the Black Sea coast. Everything, of course, is at an initial stage, but our hero told what motivated him to leave his native places and how he was going to settle on the coast. How it all started

So. On a gloomy April morning in 2019, my wife looked out the dark window, behind which the spring Udmurt blizzard was merrily beating, and asked: “Why do we live here? It's so cold here. After all, people live by the warm sea and under the bright sun. Why can't we live there? ”After scratching my head, I answered:“ Why can't we - we can do everything. There would be a desire! "

Then the wife said "I want to go south to the sea. Where roses bloom and you don't have to hide in your houses for six months and wrap yourself in warm clothes. " This is how it all started. The thought of moving, at first timid, gradually fledged, overgrown with details and began to change the surrounding space.

Who are we

A little bit about what we are. My name is Dmitry, my spouse is Tatiana. We have been a married couple for thirty years and three years: like in a fairy tale. Accordingly, we are not young - for fifty dollars to both. Our children are adults, the business is more or less organized, the house in Izhevsk was built like live and be happy. But the notorious awl in one place can not go anywhere. In the same April, we got into the car and went to the Krasnodar Territory - to choose our future place of residence.

Our criteria for choosing a home

Why we stopped in the vicinity of Krymsk, namely, in the village of Moldavanskoye, I do not know. In the meantime, I will formulate the principles from which we proceeded:

1. We want to live in a quiet, ecologically clean place, that is, in a village. But at the same time, all amenities and urban infrastructure should be within walking distance.
2. No apartments - just your own house with a large plot.
3. The house should be timber and built optimally. That is, we proceed from the principles of maximum practicality and convenience.
4. The house will be one-storey with a large veranda.
5. I design and build a house to the maximum myself, since I have experience in construction.
6. We take into account the southern specifics and local experience, but still we try to use modern solutions and materials.

These are, in fact, all the initial prerequisites that determine further decisions regarding construction. The plans are quite feasible! It was these ideas that led us to the move.
