For a long time, our family bought water or ordered delivery. But at some point, they realized that buying water began to strain for the following reasons:

1. You can forget or not have time to buy water and be left without it.

2. The taste and quality of the water was constantly changing.

3. It needs to be stored somewhere. Even 5 liter bottles spoil the interior.

4. In the long term, this is more expensive than spending money on a filter once.

Therefore, we decided to buy a filter that is installed under the sink for a long time. And next to the tap there will be a tap for filtered water. Very convenient and practical. It remains to choose a specific filtration system.

What to look for when choosing a system

There are direct-flow and classic reverse osmosis filters. The difference is that the once-through filters the water in real time when you turn on the tap. And the classic filters it in advance, before the complete set of the tank. A straight-through filter as an option was rejected by us immediately. The main reason: this is a cost that starts from 25,000 rubles and above. At the same time, we did not find too much difference with the classic reverse osmosis filter. In addition, the direct-flow one is more compact (after all, there is no water tank), but since we have plenty of space under the sink, and water in such an amount of 15 liters per day is enough for us, and if not enough, then the process of new filling takes place in a constant mode. That is, we never had such a thing that at some point there was no clean water.

We chose a classic reverse osmosis system. There, prices are an order of magnitude lower and start from 8,000 rubles, and reach somewhere around 12,000.

We chose a reverse osmosis system with mineralization Praktic Osmos OU510 for 10,510 rubles:

- the maximum number of cleaning stages in this category (6);

- water mineralization;

- a tank that fits us in size under our sink.

We did not need other options with a large tank volume - 15 liters is enough for a family of 4 people who constantly come up with a glass and pour themselves water throughout the day. We do not need a car wash, since we decided that it is better and of better quality, we will call a specialist once a year, who will open and clean everything.

You can buy it cheaper, in those where there are fewer cleaning stages, a smaller water tank or there is no mineralization. And you can buy more expensive, where the tank is larger, and there are additional visual advantages, ionization and so on.

It is worth starting from financial capabilities and request. We are completely satisfied with the quality and taste of water. And the price-quality ratio is also pleasing, this filter will serve us for more than one year. Of the minuses noticed in six months of use, there is probably only one - the crane begins to wobble after a while. My husband had to twist it, and he said that the crane was poorly installed by a specialist initially. Therefore, it is better to ask the one who will install - to do it firmly and for a long time.
