What is an armopoyas for? Is it possible to carry out the work on your own, what nuances must be taken into account
When building any multi-storey building, and especially a residential building, it is necessary to create an armored belt in the process of laying bricks or other wall material.
They are monolithic reinforced concrete structures created from concrete around the perimeter of the box. The function of the armopoyas is to improve the bearing capacity of the structure. In my case, the house has four floors: basement, first, attic, attic.
Experienced builders advised me to create an armored belt before installing floor slabs, on each floor. More often, it was not required to create reinforced concrete structures, since the house was erected from a durable material, the thickness of the walls was 1.5 bricks.
When creating an armopoyas, he carried out a number of construction works in the following sequence:
- After all the foundation blocks were laid and the construction of the basement was completed, the stage of its overlap with reinforced concrete slabs began.
- When taking measurements, I found out that in some places the blocks are not in level. So that after laying the slabs to get a flat ground on the first floor, I decided to level it.
- Along the entire perimeter of the basement, I created a formwork from wooden planks, laid the reinforcement inside, tied it together by welding. All cavities of the structure were filled with a concrete mixture containing fine crushed stone.
- After the grout had completely solidified, I checked all the surfaces of the basement with a construction level.
- Without revealing any discrepancies, he continued to work.
With the help of a construction crane, within a few hours we laid the reinforced concrete slabs, after two weeks I started the brickwork.
As soon as the first and attic floors were erected, I also made armopoies around the entire perimeter of the building.
