5 Worst colors for a summer residence. I do not advise anyone to plant them
Everyone who has their own summer cottage has thought about transforming it through vegetation at least once. If the area allows, then there is where to roam, planting both annual flowers and various perennials.
However, I strongly advise against planting any flowers. Some species are fraught with problems not only with care, but also with health.
If you want to avoid an unexpected deterioration in your condition, and the condition of your loved ones, read the top worst flowers for giving.
Lily of the valley
Lily of the valley is the personification of spring, lightness and virgin purity. Every time I noticed him in the forest, it took my breath away from his tenderness, but I would not recommend planting him on my own plot.
On the one hand, May lily of the valley is a medicinal plant, on the other, it is like snake venom. Snake venom is a potent medicine, but not in all cases. Lily of the valley is, in part, poisonous in all its parts, from leaves to flowers.
The leaves contain white milky juice, which can easily burn unprotected hands, and the buds themselves are allergens.
However, all this is not so scary compared to the fruits that appear after flowering.
If your family has children or grandchildren, I strongly recommend to do without these flowers with bright berries, which can attract the child's attention. Lily of the valley poison consists of convallotoxin, which affects the nervous system, heart and kidneys.
Buttercup
Among all the variety of representatives of the buttercup family, it is the caustic buttercup that is most ubiquitous. It grows throughout Russia, but how poisonous this small yellow flower is!
As with the lily of the valley, all parts of the flower are dangerous. Its juice contains ranunculin and protoanemonin, which can provoke the death of a tissue site by cauterization.
But the main danger posed by buttercup is severe irritation of the mucous membranes of the nose, eyes and larynx.
A chemical burn, among other things, can cause an allergic reaction - that's really a bunch of problems that this plant carries!
Digitalis
A graceful vertical flower, a faithful companion of bouquets of roses, which looks very, very chic, is a foxglove. Gardeners are also attracted by its two-year growth, however, this flower also has skeletons in the closet, which I learned from personal experience.
As it turned out, the plant contains a spectrum of glycosides that affect the work of the heart, can cause high blood pressure, and even stop the life pump. It’s good that it didn’t come to that.
Wolfberry or "wolf bast"
It's hard to find someone who grew up in the 90s who doesn't know about this plant and its damn poisonous fruits. But what can I say, this plant can cause death, both in humans and in animals.
And not only the fruit, but also its pollen. Even banal inhalation of it causes irritation of the mucous membranes, so I do not recommend being near him.
The same small particles, when in contact with the mucous membrane of the eye, can cause conjunctivitis. And bright fruits look very attractive, don't you agree?
Castor oil plant
Quite an original plant, which for many, including mine, grew not only on the site, but in the apartment. As it turned out, this burgundy flower belongs to the already poisonous dairy family, and it also heads the danger rating.
It contains such a substance as ricin, which can cause a far from painless death with just a few seeds.
It is also known that it is from the fruits of this plant that castor oil, a well-known laxative, is produced.
Symptoms of poisoning are very specific, they can be easily confused with the common cold, but today no sufficiently effective cure for ricin has been found.
The fruit may be the most dangerous part, but the leaves should also be avoided. This flower doesn’t grow with me anymore - I’ll do with Kalanchoe.
