How to independently build a basement floor, what technologies and nuances must be taken into account when carrying out work
I purchased a plot of land on which the basement was almost finished. During construction work, the former owner dug a foundation pit, at the bottom of which, along the entire perimeter of the future house, the foundation was poured.
Wall blocks made of reinforced concrete were laid on the prepared concrete foundations. Since I was completely satisfied with the existing project, I did not make any adjustments and continued construction work.
The process of erecting the basement floor in my case included the following stages:
1. Preparatory work was carried out, during which a pit was dug, according to the markings made. At the bottom, ditches are created for the strip concrete base.
2. All the corners of the pit were leveled by hand, the bottom was covered with fine-grained rubble, after which an armature was laid on it.
3. A concrete solution was poured into the ditches, which solidified within 2 weeks, acquiring its characteristics.
4. The laying of the wall blocks started from the corners, the concrete fragments were mounted on cement mortar. When performing the work, the presence of a right angle between the blocks was checked.
5. During the installation work, all the voids formed between the blocks were laid with bricks, space was immediately left for door frames (in my case, the project does not provide for windows).
6. All joints between the blocks were filled with cement mortar.
After I reported all the missing wall blocks, I started to create an armored belt. The outer part of the basement was treated several times with liquid waterproofing, made on the basis of bitumen.
The final stage was the laying of floor slabs, after which he proceeded to erect a brick box.
