How to clean a dirty microwave with edible vinegar effortlessly
The microwave oven has long been a familiar feature in almost any kitchen. Now you don't have to spend a lot of time to reheat ready-made food or defrost the necessary food. In terms of care, this household appliance is very unpretentious. If you wipe the inside of the stove every time after use with a damp sponge or a special cloth, it will always be clean.
But recently, I inherited a microwave oven with a built-in heating element for a grill, the condition of which can hardly be called satisfactory: traces of frozen fat and food residues were observed everywhere.
My first desire was to throw the stove in the trash, but then I decided to take it to the dacha. However, first I needed to wash it. On the Internet, I came across an advice according to which 9% vinegar helps to cope with such pollution. That's what I decided to check
To prepare the working solution, I needed 400 ml of ordinary cold water and 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
I put the glass jar with the ready-made mixture in the microwave, set the highest power (I have 800 W) and the time is 10 minutes.
After the sound signal to stop working, I left the stove closed so that it “steam” for another 10 minutes.
When the allotted time was up, she disconnected the microwave from the electricity and only then opened the door. The resulting effect made me very happy: after the water-vinegar bath, many old stains of fat simply evaporated.
To completely remove the dirt, I used a special microfiber cloth, after moistening it. I will not say that everything was wiped off easily, in some places I still had to make an effort. Nevertheless, the finished result was excellent.
