Winter is coming soon. This is an unfavorable period for trees, flowers and other plants. Last winter, vole mice in the country gnawed at an apple tree in the garden. Even high snow cover does not save them from them. Near the forest. Therefore, hares sometimes run in to feast on branches of apple, pear and cherry.

I remember wrapping trunks with roofing material or tying pine branches. You also need to know how to use the roofing material, otherwise the seedling will sap. It is long and you need a sufficient amount of pine branches (I have several apple trees).

A variety of materials are used to protect trees in the garden. The wife wrapped the trunks with old nylon tights. But I found another way to scare away rodents without any winding (see below).

Mice also love to feast on juicy flower bulbs. You are waiting for the shoots of your favorite flowers (tulips, lilies, gladioli, irises, hyacinths, etc.), but they never appear.

I used to think on neighbor in the country. When I'm not there digs out all bulbous. But now I understand that I shouldn't have thought so badly. The reason is in mice.

Once, the wife coated the plant bulbs with a drugstore (Vishnevsky ointment) before planting. But before that, she diluted it with water a little, so that the mixture was like sour cream. Mice dislike harsh, unpleasant odors and do not eat bulbs.

A neighbor suggested another way. Sprinkle the cat litter on the bulbs before planting. Says it scares off rodents.

There are various products for mice and rats in the store. I read it on the Internet, they say you need to put granules from rodents in the hole before planting.

Alarm clock repeller

Don't buy expensive products. This method works 100%. Already tested on bulbous. This method will help scare off not only mice, but also moles, a bear.

It is necessary to prepare several alarms on batteries "for landing". But you need exactly those that turn off themselves (for example, after half an hour or an hour).

Glass or plastic jars are also needed. In my case, I use mayonnaise buckets. Cabbage is also sold in such buckets.

We set alarms for different times. For example, one at 5 o'clock in the morning, another at 7 o'clock, etc. We put the alarm clocks in buckets and close the lid tightly. Then you need to dig holes in places where rodents can appear and bury buckets with alarm clocks. A layer of earth about 3 cm is covered from above.

Winter alarms will be to call for an hour at different times. Rodents and other pests will not like it in any way. A good battery in the alarm clock will last for winter and spring.
