How to build a fence yourself, preparatory measures, stages of construction work

Before starting the construction of my house, I decided to fence off the plot. On the part of some neighbors, I already had a fence made of type-setting reinforced concrete elements.

That is why I did not consider other options for the fence, and ordered the same products. Also, my choice was influenced by the affordable price of such a fence, since construction from brick or rubble, according to my calculations, was much more expensive.

In order not to overpay, he measured the perimeter of the site, after which he determined the exact number of type-setting plates by mathematical calculations.

In my case, a two-meter fence was supposed. It consists of 4 fragments 50 cm high and 2 m wide. While the sections were being made for me in production, I created a foundation around the entire perimeter of the site, thanks to which the fence became more durable and stable.

The process of installing a reinforced concrete fence included the following steps:

1. For each section of the fence, there were 4 fragments that I needed to install between the posts, in special grooves.

2. In order to securely fix the fragments of the fence, I smeared the joints with cement mortar between them during the installation process. It was also laid in the grooves of the posts.

3. I installed 4 fragments in each compartment with the help of an auxiliary. The low weight of the slabs made it possible not to use special lifting equipment. I covered all visible cracks with cement mortar.

Thanks to the fixation of the sections with the help of cement mortar, the strong wind, which provoked the swaying of the reinforced concrete elements, ceased to have a negative effect on the fence.

If this is not done, then strong noise cannot be avoided and the stability of the structure and its integrity may be disturbed.
