How to lay reinforced concrete floor slabs, features of the work, is it possible to self-assembly
My country house has four floors, so during the construction of the brick box I had to lay the floor slabs three times.
They are reinforced concrete structures of certain dimensions, which have reinforcement loops on the surface, intended for bundling.
Of all the types of such products, I chose slabs, inside of which there are round cavities, due to which the total weight of the product is lightened and the load on the supporting elements of the building is reduced. To save money, I bought used products with good technical characteristics and the absence of any damage.
The process of laying floor slabs provides for the observance of a certain technology, as well as some important nuances:
- When laying, the reinforced concrete structure should rest on the wall, about 10-12 cm.
- Before installation, it is necessary to complete all work on the creation of ventilation ducts, so that subsequently you do not have to create openings, thereby violating the integrity and strength of the products.
- For laying reinforced concrete slabs, specialized construction equipment is required, for example, a crane or a manipulator, with the help of which heavy structures will be moved to the right places.
- Before installing the plates, it is necessary to prepare the surfaces, create an armored belt, and check through the building level. Thanks to this, there will be no height difference and the concrete surface without leveling can be used for further wall construction.
There are metal hinges on the surface of each slab. With their help, reinforced concrete canvases are connected to each other.
Thanks to additional fixation, the possibility of displacement of the plates from their place and violation of the integrity of the entire building is prevented.
