What flowers I do not recommend to grow at home. You are worn out, but the result is deplorable

"Is it worth the candle?" - that's what is useful to think about when choosing indoor plants for the home. Yes, when thinking about which plant to acquire, it is important to consider not only its safety and attractiveness of appearance. It is also helpful to consider whether the effort spent on care will be worth the result.

There are many capricious indoor plants. Some of them delight with a unique, unlike anything else beauty, like orchids.

That is why I continue to grow them at home, despite the difficulties with the care. But there are flowers, the trouble from which is clearly more than aesthetic pleasure.

I am telling you what flowers I do not recommend planting at home for this reason.

Gardenia

An incredibly capricious plant native to the tropics. It requires special care: it does not tolerate hard water, cold soil, the slightest draft, location on the north side, direct sunlight, change of place... only continuous worries!

If at least one of these conditions is not met, the plant will begin to die with great joy and to the chagrin of the mistress.

Is gardenia beautiful? Yes, her white flowers are pretty dainty. But are they worth the trouble? I'm sure not. There are far less moody and more attractive indoor flowers.

Camellia

Camellia flowers look attractive. But getting them is very difficult, because behind the alluring appearance hides an incredibly capricious character.

Camellia comes from the highlands. The requirements of this beauty are incredibly overestimated: for it to bloom, the temperature should not exceed 10-12 degrees.

Did you make a wrong move and carelessly touch the plant, damaging the shoot? Camellia immediately becomes ill. Has the light intensity in the room changed even slightly?

Your camellia is already ready to shed its buds. Are all these problems worth the result? I think no.

Azalea

Meet the most capricious of all beauties. Will it be possible to grow at least a few flowers on an azalea?

Only if you put an incredible amount of effort into this and can meet all the necessary conditions. The result, by the way, is absolutely not guaranteed.

When choosing indoor plants, I advise you to always check the care-result ratio. If you need a lot more care than you get a positive effect, is it worth starting a plant at home?
