An elementary recipe for feeding the Dollar Tree. The flower will grow abundantly and bloom gorgeous
A popular inhabitant of home windowsills, the dollar tree, unfortunately, can upset sluggish growth with skinny leaves and lack of flowering...
But there is no need to rush to change your specimen for a new plant! I was convinced from personal experience - so that the dollar tree grows, its leaves become thicker, so that it pleases with flowering - you just need to properly feed it!
The main ingredient in the dressing is a regular banana! The fruit must be ripe, since in green nutrients are in a form that is difficult for plants to digest.
Banana provides the following effects for the dollar tree:
· Accelerates the processes of photosynthesis;
· Increases resistance to adverse environmental factors;
· Promotes the setting of flower buds.
It is high in potassium, which is exactly what room greens need for a lush look and vibrant color.
After peeling 1 banana, pour 1 liter of hot water over its peel and leave it for 24 hours.
The second ingredient in top dressing is dry yeast. Theoretically, of course, you can replace them with fresh ones, but then the proportions of yeast need to be reduced by about half.
Yeast will need 5-7 g. They should be poured with 1 liter of warm water, add new liquid to a container with banana water and count for 2-3 hours.
Now, you can water the dollar tree with liquid top dressing, spending on each pot with as much liquid as it usually goes.
And of course, it is recommended to follow the basic rules for fertilizing this plant:
· The soil is loosened after watering, thus facilitating the access of oxygen to the plant roots;
· Dressing is applied strictly at the root, and if accidentally spilled on the leaves, they must be wiped with a clean damp cloth.
I consider it important to emphasize that at least 2-3 days should pass between the introduction of the above-described top dressing and other fertilizers for the dollar tree.
Approximately this period is necessary for the activity of the yeast to end in the soil, which specifically affects the root system of the plant, changing the composition of their microflora.
Adding any fertilizer from the store, mineral, chemical, can have unpredictable consequences for the dollar tree!
You need to make such a top dressing no more than once a month. More frequent fertilization can lead to fungal diseases of the plant.
