How to choose a great hand blender without paying for unnecessary attachments
A blender is a small food processor that can handle any task: whisk, chop, chop or grind any food. I dreamed of such an assistant, I wanted him to be able to do a lot and not take up much space in the kitchen.
Selection options
When choosing a device, I took into account first of all:
1. Brand and country of origin;
2. Power;
3. Functionality;
4. Cost.
I've heard a lot about Braun blenders, read a lot of positive reviews about them. I decided to go to the store and see the current assortment, hold blenders in my hands. I dismissed Braun models with small buttons right away, they did not seem very convenient to me. And I just fell in love with the MQ 7 series blenders. Beautiful design, quality materials, a large convenient power button.
I opted for the MQ735 Sauce model.
Its power is 750 W, a long cord and the minimum equipment: whisk, blender stem, 0.6 ml beaker and 0.5 ml chopper with graduated marks. Photo "Blender set"
The blender has 10 speeds, pulse and turbo. The speed of its operation depends on the strength of pressing the button.
Advantages and disadvantages
The undoubted advantage of the chosen model, I would call high-quality materials, high power and ease of use of the MQ735 blender. The Braun range includes attachments that are sold separately. You can quickly make a smoothie or milkshake using the foot and measuring cup. Using a chopper attachment with a high-quality knife, you can grind even meat without using a meat grinder. The nozzle is easy to disassemble and clean. Photo "Chopper attachment"
The blender knife is made of stainless steel, with blades curved in different directions. The blender is equipped with a splash guard.
The downside is the lack of a dicing attachment, which almost all modern blenders have. But, I don't need it, so it didn't affect my choice. Another nuance of the blender is the presence of protection, which works very quickly. If you do not use the blender for a few seconds, the button is locked and must be pressed to continue working. In many reviews from consumers of this device, this point is indicated by a minus, but it does not irritate me at all. I did not find any other shortcomings.
I was very pleased with the blender, perhaps this is the best purchase in recent years. What blenders do you use?
