"A dangerous tree pays with mushrooms": harvested right in the yard
Emergency tree
We have a dead tree in our yard that poses a serious danger to residents. In a strong wind, a weighty branch broke off from it, which broke the roofs of the sheds, it's good that no harm done.
We have already written an application to be cut down, but the service has not yet gotten around to this, or rather, they want to hire a tower and cut a tree from it. If they do not have time before the storms and the tree falls, then at least garage and gates may be damaged.
Mycelium
The tree is so old that mushrooms have chosen it, which are already producing the third harvest.
Today I go out and see bunches of mushrooms, yeah, you can pick, I come back for a knife and a bag.
The wife says that even it is a pity now to saw such a fruiting plant. But this, of course, wrong, having fallen down, such a whopper can do business, it's good that if it only costs material damage. Although, what's good here?
In the meantime, we are waiting for the administration to fulfill its promise, in a response letter to the application, they wrote that they would cut it down by the end of the year.
It is interesting to know, do you quickly resolve such issues, or do they also stretch as much as possible in time?
