Square LED Downlights appear on the market more and more often and they give excellent light with a meager power consumption. Installation of such a lamp is very simple, even for an unprepared person. You only need turn off the electricity supply to the ceiling and take a simple terminal for 2 wires.

As you can see, this lamp also has a massive driver, but you shouldn't be afraid of it. All that is needed is to lay it inside the body so that it does not interfere with screwing and pressing the lamp to the ceiling.

The kit includes a mounting rail that screwed to the ceiling with self-tapping screws horns down, and then the lamp itself is attached to it with bolts. Most Chinese lighting fixtures are attached in a similar way.

Having chosen the desired position of the lamp on the ceiling, it is also worthwhile to determine in advance and outline with a pencil the position in which the tire will be located. Before installation, you need to attach the tire to the luminaire and lightly nail down the sides of the luminaire with bolts, which will help you understand exactly where it will be after the final choice of the position of the plafond on the ceiling.

If the ceiling is made of wood, plasterboard or MDF, you can hook the tire without dowels just on a self-tapping screw. You will have to drill into the stove with a perforator. I was lucky - drywall. Since this lamp is very light and small-sized 30x30 cm, you don't even need to remember that it will disappear.

At the next stage, we cling to the ends of the wires of the lamp terminals. When luminaire voltage of 10 W a boltless terminal is also suitable. Here I put terminals with spring contacts. They can be seen on picture 2.

From the ceiling, however, another pair of coiled wires stuck out, which had to be pushed inside due to its uselessness.

Now into the terminal on the other side we insert the wires coming out of the ceiling and we get just such a composition as on photo 3. After that, it remains to push unnecessary wires into the ceiling, normally lay the driver and screw the ceiling lamp on both sides with bolts.

A friend's help when installing the shade is very useful, since it is not so easy to take a forgotten screwdriver or a bolt lying somewhere on the floor.

This is the easy way to install a square lamp. We launch electricity and enjoy the bright present and future!

It happens that a square lamp cannot be pressed tightly to the ceiling and there is no installer's fault. Let me remind you: he is Chinese! It's just that the holes on the luminaire body can be drilled in such a way that you can't put it in another way.
