One trick makes the Decembrist bloom more abundantly (1.5-2 times). I share a working diagram
Fiery fireworks, fellow flower growers!
Do you want to make the Decembrist bloom magnificently? Usually, the plant copes with the task of a massive set of buds on its own when the time comes. But some specimens can be capricious and skimp on flowers. I will tell you a scheme that stimulates the growth of new and new buds.
What does the Decembrist want at home?
To begin with, in fairness, I will list the main points of proper care for Schlumberger (the official name of a houseplant). After all, the health of the Decembrist is the key to lush flowering.
- The home flower belongs to succulents. Until it blooms, it perfectly tolerates a lack of moisture. But the stagnation of moisture in the pot is a disaster for every Decembrist, comrades! Good drainage from large expanded clay at the bottom, loose soil (coarse sand or perlite is fiercely welcomed!) And moderate watering helps to avoid troubles. They take a watering can when the top layer of earth in a pot dries up by 1 cm.
Decembrist is a houseplant, undemanding to food. But for the growth of numerous buds, he still needs feeding.. Without them, the Decembrist is content with little and shows the same flowering.
- Another efficient uninterruptible power supply is fresh earth! Adult Schlumberger favors careful handling once every 2-3 years. Young specimens, constantly increasing in size, are transplanted into a pot every year. The diameter of the new house should be 2 cm larger than the size of the root system.
- A Decembrist placed in the shade will never bloom luxuriantly. But on the bright window, the growth of new buds quickly begins, crowning the tips of the leaves..
Compliance with the basics of cultivation is a success and delight from flowering in 80% of cases. But, if you have an enviable stubbornness or want to get a surprisingly violent bloom, I suggest using the scheme, conventionally called by me "Making the Decembrist bloom luxuriantly."
Step-by-step instructions for making the Decembrist bloom 1.5-2 times more magnificent
Move the Decembrist pot to a sunny and cool place. The optimum temperature is approximately 12-18 ° C. An insulated loggia or veranda would be an excellent option. If there is no cool room in the house, choose the coldest windowsill in the apartment. Move the pot closer to the glass - let the Schlumberger get enough sun and coolness.
Until the Decembrist has gathered buds at the new place of residence, water it very sparingly. But when the cherished buds appear, the soil in the pot should now always be slightly moist. Otherwise, Schlumberger, comrades, can defiantly throw off the recruited buds. This option is not suitable for us!
Don't forget about feeding. 1-2 months before the beginning of flowering, start feeding (if you have not done it before) with a complex mineral fertilizer "For blooming", where phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) prevail. An impressive result is obtained by spraying with a solution of potassium monophosphate.
When the Decembrist has enough buds in the coolness, move it to the house. Choose a place to your liking where the Schlumberger will look spectacular. It is desirable that it is also well lit - this will prolong flowering.
To prevent the Decembrist from throwing off the typed buds, turn it to the window with the same side as it was facing the lighting in a cool place.
