We increase the number of buds of the Decembrist. The best folk food for a plant in cold weather

From my own experience, I was convinced that the abundant flowering of the Decembrist can be achieved in one way - with the right feeding.

Previously, I used only purchased drugs, but not so long ago I completely switched to home remedies. Folk dressings have much more advantages.

It turns out not only to save significantly, but also to provide plants with all the necessary elements for active flowering.

Top dressing from wood ash

I think that the most effective fertilizer for fertilizing in the cold season is based on wood ash. This substance contains all the elements needed to set buds.

There is no nitrogen in the ash, which causes an active build-up of greenery, so the Decembrist throws all his strength into flowering.

Preparation:

1. Boil the water (I don't have too many Decembrists, two liters of boiling water are enough for one feeding).

2. Steam wood ash (50-70 gr.), Stir.

3. Cover the container tightly and leave to brew for a day.

I feed it with wood ash infusion only at the root. Foliar can also be used, but even if the solution is filtered, it will leave gray streaks on the leaves.

I fertilize the Decembrist with an ash solution three times at intervals of two weeks. If there is no time to prepare top dressing, I do it easier - I sprinkle the substrate in the pot with a thin layer of wood ash and loosen the surface to a depth of about 2-3 cm.

Top dressing with tea infusion

You can pamper your favorites with tea infusion, which will make even the most capricious Decembrist varieties bloom. To prepare the fertilizer, steam the tea (15 g) with boiling water (500 ml) and leave for about an hour.

I do not advise using tea bags - often there is tea dust in the bags, which will not bring any benefit to the Decembrist.

You should also not steam a drink that contains fruit particles, aromatic herbs or citrus zest - they can destroy the nutrients that the plant needs for flowering.

I water the Decembrists with tea infusion only in the morning. Before applying top dressing, I slightly moisten the soil. You can also use a folk remedy for spraying bushes - the leaves quickly absorb useful trace elements that stimulate flowering.

Regardless of what kind of home fertilizer you use, you should not forget the simple truth - you can only achieve results by regular application of fertilizing!

If you water the Decembrist with a nutrient solution only 1-2 times, it will not bring any benefit. In cold weather, I advise you to fertilize the plants every two weeks, and soon the bushes will delight you with a large number of buds.
