How to independently perform work on creating a foundation pit for a fence, installing metal supports
At the time of the main construction work, I installed a temporary fence on the front side of the fence, using a netting for this purpose. Since it is located in the open air and is exposed to atmospheric precipitation, it has lost its functionality in a few years. I decided not to spend money on another temporary hut, but immediately make the main facade of the fence, along the perimeter I already have a fence.
The choice was made in favor of corrugated board, from which the sections will be made. As a basis, I decided to make a concrete foundation, reinforced with rubble, poured into a fixed formwork from fragments of an eurofence.
The work process will last for several weeks, and includes the following stages:
- Initially, I had to move the netting, from one side to the inside of the yard, from the other to the outside (because of the sliding gate).
- After the territory was vacated, I proceeded to create a pit, which runs along the entire width of the site - 31 m.
- I dug holes by hand, it turned out to be 50 cm deep.
- He began to install metal poles in the prepared trenches (he lined them with bricks and rubble), to which the corrugated board would later be fixed.
- On the lower part of each pillar, metal corners were fixed, thanks to which it is possible to ensure greater stability of the structure.
After all the posts were installed at a distance of 2 m, I proceeded to strapping them. To do this, I welded a metal corner from below and from above. Thanks to such a bundle, the structure is more durable and stable.
- The next step will be the installation of permanent formwork, painting of all metal elements, after which you can start pouring the foundation.
