My new hammer drill drills so fast that the neighbors do not have time to get scared: I am telling you what a "beast"
Since I am engaged in construction and decoration, at the same time building my own house, I rely only on my own experience in choosing the tools. In the summer I bought myself a new rotary hammer from PIT, because I have long known this manufacturer and I trust him. The model chose PBH26-C2.
I was glad that the set included not only the case and the tool itself, but also three drills plus lubricant for them. It seems like a trifle, but it will come in handy on the farm. Plastic case with the same plastic fasteners. I thought I would break it in the first days, but it is still intact. The truth is terribly dusty because of the black color.
Of the features of the tool - it has an electronic speed control. That is, the force of rotation depends on the force of pressing the start. Where the material is dense, you simply apply more force, where it is loose, you press more carefully. As a result, you independently select the optimal rotation force for the required material.
The side handle is swivel, you can unfold as convenient. Traditionally soft, rubberized, as is the main handle.
There are three modes of operation, they are switched from the button.
You can drill, drill and chisel, and only chisel.
Next to the start button there is a reverse and a start blocking button. By the way, the start button itself is quite large, you press with more than one finger, which means you better control the speed.
In operation, the hammer drill proved to be a hard worker. He used them to grind concrete walls, brick ones, to remove old plaster. I often use it as a drill. Sometimes I install a whisk and use it as a mixer. In short, no mercy, but he is still cheerful. The case is strong enough, checked by sloppiness and several drops. The wire is harsh, I hope it will not tan in the cold, otherwise it will just be the first minus.
