Personally, I need it to make fertilizers for my favorite indoor plants. I will tell you how I prepare such a fertilizer. But first, a little about how plants can benefit from banana skins.

The benefits of banana peel for plants

· The phosphorus contained in the peel helps young plants to grow and strengthen better. And seeds germinate better when there is enough phosphorus.

· For the formation of a strong root system, phosphorus is simply needed. There is also a lot of it in the peel.

· In order to properly assimilate nitrogen from the soil, you need potassium. And he, too, is in the peel.

· Well, you can't do without magnesium. It is he who contributes to the appearance of an attractive green color in plants.

There are many recipes for making banana peel fertilizers. Personally, I really like the crust infusion. It is easy to prepare, easy to use, but most importantly, it has an amazing effect. My plants grow very well after such feeding and look healthy.

Banana skins infusion recipe

First you need to prepare a three-liter jar. It needs to be sterilized well to get rid of germs. Next, put a few fresh banana skins on the bottom of the jar.

Then the skins are poured with warm boiled water. The skins must be rinsed well before putting into the container. Next, let the infusion reach maturity within a week.

After that, the infusion must be filtered, diluted with water in a one-to-one ratio. This completes the preparation of the fertilizer, you can safely start feeding the plants.

But it is not necessary to water with pure infusion. After all, an excess of nutrients and trace elements can also be harmful. 1 tablespoon of this infusion is added to a liter of water. And the plants are watered with this solution.

I carry out this procedure once every 2 weeks. If your plants are very weak, you can do this every week at first.

It is also convenient that the infusion can be stored. Just put it in a cool place.
