Temporary staircase to the second floor and construction conservation

Wall masonry for the 2020 season finished. The reason given in this article: The last row in the masonry of the second floor this season. Why am I stopping the construction?

While the weather was positive, I decided to make a temporary staircase to climb to the second floor. Up to this point, I climbed a step-ladder made of three pallets.

From the construction of the bath, a timber remained. It has already turned black with time. But he did the right thing by not letting him go for wood. It did not rot, the wood was strong inside. I sawed it along with a chainsaw and installed it with support on the ceiling:

Sawed off the excess length and from the segments sawed steps 45 cm long. The steps were mounted on bars. The bars are also used, preserved from the formwork. And initially it was waste from sawing a sawmill, "macaroni", as they are called. I did everything in the evening under artificial light, so I didn't shoot the process. Photos taken the next day:

The staircase rests against the wall, and on the second floor it rests on the floor slab. The steps are thick, reliable, you can go down or go up them with a load (carry a block, buckets of concrete). There was a board 50 mm thick, but with a load of more than 150 kg, there is a risk that the steps from it will not withstand. And the steps made of half a bar with a thickness of 70 cm turned out with a load margin.

I also made a restriction on the slab - railings. More psychological barrier.

Total costs - 0 RUB on a temporary ladder. I do not consider self-tapping screws, tk. they were bought for fastening the formwork when pouring the armopoyas. Those. also used.

Later, when I install the formwork for pouring a concrete staircase, this wooden one can be quickly disassembled or rearranged to climb the attic floor (from the second floor there will be a hatch and a ladder will be needed to climb to the attic when insulation).

Next - the conservation of the construction site. At the end of October, snow fell a week or two earlier than in previous years. It dropped out twice already, but it melted.

The windows were sewn up from the inside with polyethylene from the packaging of the blocks. To prevent snow from blowing into a blizzard. There is perforation in the film and there will be poor ventilation of the premises. He covered the under-window areas of the second floor with it. As well as masonry. The polyethylene was pressed with concrete tiles, which were made from the remains of concrete. The snow can still melt and you will have to come and clean it on the ceiling and on the walls.

If someone will continue laying aerated concrete at sub-zero temperatures or preserve a construction site, then see these recommendations of one of the aerated concrete manufacturers:

Examples and errors of what can happen if the construction site is not properly preserved are given. Better to foresee everything.
