"How much did you pay to build the house?" Maybe you shouldn't have paid at all?
Not always and not all work hired workers will do better than yourself. Yes, they are professionals, but not when one should not forget that the season feeds them the year, that is, working 5-6 months of the year they earn their living for the rest of the year when, due to weather conditions, they work it is impossible.
Therefore, they are erased to do any work as quickly as possible and move on to another order. The quality often suffers from this speed. In most cases, these jambs are not immediately visible, but crawl out after a while, when the workers and the trail are gone.
As for saving time, the same grandmother said for two, if you want something to be done well for you, then you should at least a little understand the question of how and what they do, for this you need spend time reading literature or surfing the Internet before starting work, then in order to control the whole process and stop possible theft of building materials (hired private these builders often sin) you need to be on the site, in fact, spend your time controlling the work, this is especially important when there is a lot of hidden work, which is then under the wall cladding will not be visible.
All photos of this house are here:https://dom-bt.com/gallery/photo/2634/
A striking example is one of my neighbors, when a team from Ukraine was building a house for him, he did not control the process from the word at all, appeared on the site for the entire construction period 3-4 times.
Not only did they constantly pull money from him in excess of the budget, they allegedly did not have enough: then nails, then corners, then the tiles were thrown, although all was calculated and purchased even with a small margin, the builders said they would buy lumber themselves because they "know how to choose a good forest".
So the house also stood for only 8 years, after 6 years the second floor became VERY cold, for 8 years above the stairs with ceiling in winter, during the thaw, drops appeared, and in places outside it became noticeable that it had moved away siding cracks appeared.
He had to hire another team to sort out the house, in the end they removed all the siding and it turned out that not some wind and steam of insulation is not worth a word at all, and the insulation did not go with stone wool slabs, which he bought, but the cheapest rolled one, which was fixed inside the frame from top to bottom, over time it simply damp and fell down (most importantly, the insulation was fixed with the usual staples of a construction stapler).
