Healthy and tasty trout: you can and should eat it on a diet + my simple recipe
A rare, but so tasty and beloved fish is trout. It is a pleasure to eat it. I do not cook this fish often, usually on holidays, since it is quite expensive for everyday nutrition, and it should be consumed in moderation. In general, there are a lot of trout species, for example, rainbow or brook trout, everyone can choose according to their taste preferences. Also, it is not only tasty, but also very useful.
Trout benefits
Probably everyone who has tried trout at least once will want to try it again. After all, it is the product that is useful for almost everyone. People with gastrointestinal diseases, stomach ulcers need to consult a doctor first, since even fish such as trout can harm the body, because it is very fatty.
So the benefits:
- Vitamins and minerals, which are abundant in trout. This includes vitamins of groups A, D, E, as well as phosphorus, magnesium, etc.;
- Trout is low in calories and is suitable even for those on a diet;
- The content of unsaturated fats such as omega-3 and omega-6, which are very important for the human body, for example, omega-3 strengthens nails and hair.
It is known that the head of a fish is the accumulator of all harmful substances that were in its habitat, therefore, the use of the head for food is unacceptable!
Also be wary ofto smoked and salted fish, which is sold almost everywhere, in this case, it is better to pickle at home than buy something and get poisoned.
How to cut fish
My method of butchering is very simple and basic.
- I wash the fish thoroughly under water.
- I cut off the fins and rip open the belly.
- I take out the contents.
- I cut off the head and tail.
- I cut the fish into steaks to make it easier to bake it.
And, of course, my favorite is cooking. I have a recipe that this is not the first time I've cooked trout, and it turns out delicious. In general, there are many ways of cooking, but as for me, "everything is ingenious is simple", so I use a minimum of additives.
Recipe
You will need:
- the trout we just cut into steaks;
- pink Himalayan salt;
- choose the usual spices for fish, which are sold in any store, to your taste, because it is individual for everyone;
- lemon.
Soak the steak with all this, wrap it in foil and bake it in the oven for about 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C.
And we get the most tender fish, I like to use rice as a side dish.
