As a free person, I often allow myself to meet women. No, you can hardly call me a womanizer, but it's also hard to call me a hermit. And according to the established tradition, first dates often take place in a cafe.

And from my own experience, I will say that this is the perfect place to take a closer look at a woman and learn more about her character. This is especially evident in the last case. I offered my new girlfriend to pay the bill in half, and her reaction just amused me.

I will not be distracted by the history of acquaintance, because all the most interesting happened when we had already met in a cafe. Absolutely not looking at the prices on the menu, my new acquaintance ordered a dinner for herself, quite tangible even for an average wallet.

I myself limited myself to more modest dishes. No, I'm not a greedy person at all, and I make very good money. But I just can't stand commercialism in people.

That is why I always try to bring them to clean water, even if for this I have to act out some kind of scene.

And in the midst of the fun, so to speak, I reach into my pocket and freeze, as if in shock. And then I say to my interlocutor: "I think I left the money at home."

And after a while I add: “Can we pay the bill in half this time? I'll scrape something in my pockets if I look, but I can't pay for the whole dinner. "

If only anyone saw how my girlfriend, who a second before was in the most wonderful mood, changed in her face. She looked at me with some disgust, and then said through clenched teeth: “What, couldn't you tell right away that you couldn't even pay for dinner?”

I am not touchy and I think that if a person is mistaken in his conclusions, this is exclusively his problem.

And so he calmly repeated to her, as if he had not noticed anything: “No, I’m not poor. It just won't be enough for the whole check now. " However, the mood of my friend evaporated somewhere. She muttered softly: "A man should always pay for a woman."

And then with a smile, I put on the table the amount that would definitely be enough for a check for the whole dinner, as well as for generous tip (I still had money) and with a smile told her: “A real gentleman should communicate with real lady". And then he got up from the table and went to the exit.

As a companion, my new girlfriend really liked me. And her appearance is very attractive. But I will never continue a relationship with a woman who will demand money from me.

Although some men find it convenient - they paid and got everything they needed. But it is still more important for me that the woman does not look at me as at an ATM. And so that you don't poke my nose at what I have to, on the first date. I just saw a person in me.
