The main reasons why many women after 50 years are not happy and they are unhappy

For some reason, the older people get, the less "spark" in their eyes, less joy and lightness in them. And if you look around at those who are already over 50, and it is completely sad picture - most women are drooping, longing has long been imprinted on their faces, and their eyes have died out.

They are unhappy and practically do not find any reason for joy. Some have hidden depression that they don't want to admit.

Psychologists, working with such women aged 50+, identified several main reasons why they are not happy with anything and there is no feeling of happiness and fulfillment.

1. Unsuccessful marriage. Many older women have a stereotype in their heads that being divorced is bad, and the marriage must be preserved at all costs for the sake of children. So they kept for years what had long become obsolete.

And now the time has come when the children grew up, began to live their lives, and she suddenly realized that she had spent the best years on the wrong person with whom she had never been happy. Previously for the sake of children, but now it's just scary to disperse - a habit, and where already ...

Fear of changes in life and unwillingness to make them - this causes a feeling of hopelessness.

2. Unfulfillment. Not all women were able to realize themselves and achieve what they dreamed of. Many of those who to this day work in a hated job earn little.

When I was young, there were some reasons to justify my lack of fulfillment, but now another reason is my age, it's too late to change something, who will take me to another job at that age... Again, a feeling of hopelessness and constant remorse for herself for not having achieved anything meaningful.

3. Unreasonable expectations. There are many women who have remained dreamers. They wanted to marry a prince, and a house on the seashore, and a convertible parked in the yard, but the best years passed and nothing came true.

Only few people realize that nothing has been done to fulfill these expectations. There was only one regret about missed opportunities.

4. Inability to love yourself, disrespect for yourself and your interests. Women, who are now 50 years old or more, found themselves in the Soviet era, where communist ideology was instilled in people. In it, the interests of the collective were placed above the interests of an individual. And taking care of oneself, first of all, was perceived as blasphemous egoism.

So we are now observing an aging generation of women who do not love themselves so much that they do not know how to take care of themselves, pamper themselves, independently create a mood for yourself, make gifts for yourself, choose the best for yourself and give up everything that causes discomfort, pain and inconvenience.

5. Grown up children. Usually mothers who are prone to overprotection experience sadness about this. They suddenly see that their children have become adults, flew away from the nest, began to live their own lives.

Many mothers cannot let go of their children and try to keep control over them to the last, to manipulate them, thereby satisfying their needs for attention. And the more often such "numbers" stop rolling, the more unhappy the woman feels.

6. Disbelief in yourself and unwillingness to do something change (take responsibility for your life on yourself). Alas, many ladies do not want to believe in themselves and finally start doing something in order to make their lives more fulfilling, richer and more joyful.

They all wait for the weather by the sea and blame everyone around for their problems. Someone thinks that it is too late to change life, although that is pure absurdity. But it's easier to think that way.

But if you do not realize that your life is only in your hands and only you yourself can regain the joy of being, interest in life, only you can find yourself new things, new hobbies, then nothing will change, but only worse.
