The heating system in our country house, in the Ryazan region, made by hand
Our subscribers, who live in their country house in the Ryazan region, shared their story about the design of the heating system and their own experience with us.
My husband and I live outside the city in the central part of Russia. Since our house is located in an open area, next to a well-ventilated field, the issue of providing high-quality heating is in the foreground. Further I will tell you what kind of heating system is in our house, why we chose it, what shortcomings there are in it and in what ways we are trying to eliminate them.
Features:
Our country house has a double-circuit water heating system powered by liquefied gas (central connection). One circuit works to heat the first floor and a technical room, and the other to heat the second floor. The circulation of water in the system is created forcibly.
The system works simply: fuel enters the gas boiler, it gives a command to heat the liquid into the system. The heated liquid moves through the pipes to the water radiators with a pump. The cooled heat carrier returns to the heat generator, where it is reheated to the required temperature. Excess water flows into the expansion tank.
Interesting! The system was built with his own hands, with the approval of the gas service. It contains fuses that protect against pipe breakthrough, accumulation of excess hot coolant.
Pros and cons
The forced circulation water heating system was chosen by us due to:
1. cheapness of construction;
2. the possibility of heating a large area (we have 150 squares);
3. the possibility of using pipes of smaller diameter;
4. possibility of hidden installation of pipes.
Over the years of using the heating system, only one drawback has been identified - the possibility of freezing the system in winter when the heating is turned off. Water must be drained from the entire system, including from the pipes of the battery. However, we found a simple and budget solution for this - pouring antifreeze and water in a 50-50 ratio.
