Traditionally, the opinion has developed that men are the stronger sex. Accordingly, they are not subject to fear, and in the literal sense they cannot be scared by anything.
But in fact, this is nothing more than a contrived image created by the men themselves. And often women do not even realize that their chosen ones are afraid of many things.
Seem weak
Men do not show their emotions in public, instead acting indifferent under any circumstances. It is very rare to see anxiety in their eyes, and even more so - tears.
But inside they are full of the same feelings as women, they are simply afraid to seem impressionable and weak, and therefore they restrain themselves as much as they can. Any man can be quickly labeled as a weakling. But getting rid of it is very, very difficult.
Stay unfulfilled
A normal man, if he is not lazy to the core, wants to realize himself: to become an architect, astronaut, businessman, inventor, etc. Building a house, planting a tree and raising a son is not all that men want from life, the list of their desires is much longer.
But the prospect of being left without their dream causes them real fear. It is from there that legs grow in a midlife crisis: when a man realizes that he has not achieved what he wants, he falls into a prolonged depression.
Not being able to provide for a family
Each person wants to achieve his ideal. And men are no exception. Moreover, often their aspirations are not so bad - to become a protector of their loved ones, to provide for their family so that they do not need anything, to enjoy authority with their wife and children.
And men are very afraid that they will not be able to do it. That is why they take reproaches so painfully that they earn little and are not capable of anything. To offend a man with such a phrase is a piece of cake.
Be lonely
Despite the independent image that men are constantly trying to cultivate, they are very afraid of loneliness. Many are afraid to be left without their beloved woman - to lose her or not to find her at all.
As it was sung in the famous song - it is better to be one-legged than to be lonely. And men understand this very well. Yes, they do not always appreciate what they have - including their family. But at the same time they are very afraid to be left alone.
To be betrayed
Men are very proud of their loyal friends and wives. They like to realize that in a difficult situation they can lean on the shoulder of a reliable friend, and in the same way they want to be sure that the woman they love will not cheat on them.
But this sense of pride also has a flip side of the coin: the fear of betrayal. Many men fear that they will be "stabbed in the back" at the most unexpected moment. That is why they are so incredulous.
