How to bake beautiful and delicious tartlets on your own in a tartlet maker and create a festive mood for yourself

Gathering guests, setting a festive table for me is joy and pleasure. I especially like to cook snack tartlets filled with salads, pates, caviar, etc. I don't buy tartlets in the store - they contain too much chemistry. I tried to bake baskets in metal or silicone molds - a lot of fuss, but the result was not very pleasing: the finished products turned out to be uneven, the edges often broke off.

Choosing a tart girl

Thinking about buying a lady tart, I began to figure out what they are like. I found out that sometimes manufacturers position them as waffle makers.

Conventionally, tartlets can be divided into two groups: for household use and for industrial use.

1. The First FA-5304 or VES electric G-116-N can bake two or four round tartlets at the same time. These units are good for home use: they are compact, easy to maintain, consume little electricity and are inexpensive.

2. Industrial tartlets - for example, Kocateq DH Tartmatic or Pavoni Cookmatic - are units decent size and price, but they allow you to bake at the same time from 16 or more tartlets various forms.

My choice

I chose the VES electric G-116-N tartlet maker.

I liked the technical characteristics of the device:

Dimensions - length 22.5 cm, width 15 cm, height 8.5 cm;

· Weight - 1 kg 100 g;

· Power consumption - 520 W;

· Teflon coating of internal working surfaces;

· Simultaneous baking of four tartlets.

How to operate the device

The device must be installed on a plastic, rubber or ceramic surface and connected to the mains.

Warm up to the prescribed temperature. If the dough contains little fat, then the working surfaces of the tartlet maker should be greased with vegetable oil so that the baked tartlets do not stick to the mold.

Manufacturers recommend rolling out round cakes from the dough and placing them in the cells of the tartlet maker. But fiddling with cakes complicates the cooking process, in addition, the edges of the dough crawl out of the mold. I came up with a universal method: divide the dough into equal pieces, roll up the balls and put them in the cells. Close the cover of the device and click the catch lock. The upper and lower cell of the tartlet maker will perfectly form baskets when the lid is closed. It is important to choose the right size of dough balls, they should occupy about 2/3 of the cell volume.

Tartlets are baked for two to ten minutes, depending on the type of dough. The finished baskets are removed from the mold using plastic tongs or a spatula. Be careful as both the appliance and the baked goods are very hot!

Conclusion

The overall impression of the device is high-quality workmanship and ease of use. The tart girl creates a festive mood for me! Now I look forward to the arrival of guests with even greater pleasure in order to get my assistant from the shelf, bake baskets and prepare original snacks. I am looking for new dough recipes and filling options for tartlets.
