How to independently make sliding gates from corrugated board, stages of work, installation of automation

On my site there is still no front fence, the function of the fence is performed by a chain-link mesh until all the main construction work is completed.

To provide access to the specialized equipment area and my car, I decided to install a gate. When choosing a modification, I considered various options, but after studying their characteristics and, based on personal preferences, I made a choice in favor of a retractable design.

The gate manufacturing process involved several stages:

1. Initially, I performed the markings, thanks to which I determined the locations of the metal posts for the structure.

2. At the marked points, I dug holes, dove 50 cm, and poured a layer of rubble on the bottom.

3. I installed the pillars, leveled them with a building level, filled the voids with cement mortar, installed supports on the sides so that as the mortar solidified, no displacement occurred.

5. He made a sliding structure from a shaped pipe, the elements of which were fixed to each other by welding.

6. On the bottom of the workpiece, I fixed a special toothed rack.

7. On one pillar, from the inside, I fixed the catchers, on the second support I installed rollers.

8. I have laid the wiring for the lamp, drive, sensors.

9. I installed roller guides into the toothed rack, inserted the gate frame into the runners.

10. Completed the fastening of the automation, carried out the regulation, connection.

11. Installed on the street side of the posts sensors for emergency closing and opening of the gate.

12. At the final stage of the work, he clad the structure with corrugated board, which has the same color scheme and texture with a gate and metal tiles, laid on the roof.
