Perhaps the best food for indoor plants without harmful chemicals. I recommend to everyone
In modern times, the overwhelming number of flower growers, when choosing feeding for their green pets, give preference for specialized store fertilizers, forgetting or simply ignoring the fact how much chemistry they contain contained!
I love my indoor plants too much and will never stuff them with any chemistry! And in general, I am convinced that feeding from simple improvised means is in no way inferior in efficiency to expensive specialized preparations!
I am happy to tell you about my favorite and, in my opinion, the most effective natural dressing for indoor plants!
Main component
The main ingredient in my favorite flower food is an ingredient that can be found in every kitchen. We are talking about the most common yeast. In their composition, there is a high concentration of protein (about 66%), there are also carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, trace elements.
Beneficial features
Why is yeast so useful for indoor plants? So:
· Yeast, being a source of beneficial microorganisms, has a beneficial effect on the growth and development of plants;
· After yeast feeding, plants become more hardy, resistant to various diseases, their immunity is strengthened;
· Under the influence of yeast, the growth of the root system of plants is stimulated;
· Yeast dressing has a beneficial effect on the brightness and duration of flowering plants.
Features of solution preparation
To prepare a nutritious and healthy solution for indoor flowers, we need just a few simple components. These are actually yeast, sugar, wood ash and any soft water (boiled, settled).
There is no wood ash in the classic recipe, but considering how useful it is for plants, I believe that ash will never be superfluous, and even less harmful. Pour 1 tablespoon of yeast, 45 grams of sugar, and 1 glass of wood ash into a 10 liter container.
Stir everything well, let stand for 3-4 hours. Before directly feeding, the resulting fertilizer base must be diluted with clean and soft water in a ratio of 1: 5.
Application features
The consumption rate per adult plant is 0.5 liters. Top dressing is carried out by the root method. It is important to strictly adhere to the indicated proportions, since otherwise you can burn the plant.
If you've never fed your plants with yeast, be sure to try it now!
