I bought myself a glamorous snow shovel - it turns out that there are such
So the first snow fell in the Urals, and quite deep, 15 centimeters high. To be honest, the mud is pretty boring and the snow pleased me with its cleanliness.
But I immediately realized that when my husband was at work, I would have to remove snow from the paths, how could it be otherwise! And, taking his shovel, I gladly began to "rake", as they used to say in our village in childhood.
But it was not there! My husband's shovel turned out to be heavy, wide, it grabbed a lot of snow at once. And I quickly fizzled out, realizing that the instrument was not for me. When he got home, I complained about a problem and we decided to buy me a smaller shovel.
Arriving at the very first household goods store, I discovered that there is a large selection, and the prices for them - quite affordable - from 80 rubles. I just needed a small shovel, it is very inexpensive.
I also saw the ancestor of modern shovels - plywood, upholstered in tin, like my grandfather and dad had in their childhood in the village.
It turns out that these are also sold.
My husband was interested in a huge snow scraper, with which you can immediately move a whole snowdrift. But for such volumes, it is better to buy a snowblower.
When the saleswoman, a cheerful country woman, heard what we were choosing for me, she advised me to go to another store, saying that there were shovels there “more beautiful, more glamorous”.
I wondered what kind of glamorous shovels were, and we drove to the next store. And, in fact, they saw bright, funny and very expensive, by the way, things there.
It took me a long time to decide whether to take a blue or green one, but nevertheless I bought an orange, transparent spatula, on which it is written that it does not break and has increased strength. It is made of frost-resistant polycarbonate.
All women, I hope, will understand me, and all men will grumble, like my husband, that this is a waste of money. But I believe that work should be enjoyable, and this requires a nice tool.
Now I have a personal paddle, cheerful, as if glowing. Not that these black brutal male shovels, like everyone else!
